this video took a whole year to put out. the first shots being recorded in november 2024.
we started the shoot in a rental studio in columbus. we rented it with the intention of using their huge white wall they had advertised. we drive a hour and a half with a truck packed with equipment, and when we get to the studio it looked nothing like the pictures on the website. they had also never cleaned up after the shoot that was before us. so the owner was still putting everything away during our time that we paid for. when we asked to see where the white wall was he took us to the backroom of the building, and it was completely under construction. to say blc was mad is a understatement. the whole crew that was there was mad. we just ended up working with what we have and took the lights they had into the back and did some shots in construction area.
and for the shot of him in front of a white wall we used the paper backgrounds they have. which is not what we were hoping for. and they were honestly a pain to work with.
we couldn't get everything we wanted done in the amount of time that we rented, so they let us go over the time cause we were in the backroom that nobody could use anyways. and there was a maternity photoshoot after us.
part of the reason this video took so long to get out is that some shots just didn't work out so i didn't have enough to play with. so we had to go back out 2 more times after columbus to get more shots. one of those times was to get a new intro shot with my friend austin's car.
while we were at the studio we also did a photoshoot for blc's clothing brand cstmry. we had about 3k photos taken that day, resulting in the biggest folder I have on my archive drive. with all the music video shots, photoshoot, and all behind the scenes it added up to 98 gigabytes.
life just happened for both me and blc resulting in a falling out after this shoot. so there was a lot of radio silence between us.
i got this video fully finished and ready for upload and was scheduled to release 5/5/25. but again, life happened, and blc had things happen resulting in another falling out.
now, its november 2025. exactly one year after shooting this video and it is now finally being released.
